Project Overview: PDDM Solutions was contracted by Shelley & Sands to provide comprehensive Civil Engineering and General Contracting services for the construction of a 40x40 Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) designed to house a steam generator. This project aimed to establish a functional and efficient facility that meets operational requirements and enhances service capabilities.

Scope of Work: The scope of our services included the following key components:

  • Civil Engineering Services:
    • Conducting the necessary engineering assessments to inform the design and ensure structural integrity. This included site evaluations and the development of related engineering plans.
  • General Contracting Services:
    • Construction of the PEMB: Managing the construction of the 40x40 Pre-Engineered Metal Building, ensuring that the structure was built to the highest standards.
    • Foundations and Concrete Slabs: Overseeing the design and construction of the foundations and concrete slabs to provide a stable base for the PEMB and its operations.
    • Building Shell Installation: Installing the building shell, which includes the exterior walls and roofing designed for durability and efficiency.
    • Overhead Doors: Installing (3) functional overhead doors to facilitate easy access for maintenance and operations related to the steam generator.
