Project Overview: The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) awarded Visual Connections a contract to install a new state-of-the-art security surveillance system, a campus wide Safety and Emergency Blue Light stations, a new dispatch control center with a 30’ x 15’ high tech video wall , and construct new site fiber infrastructure at the Hampton VAMC campus in Hampton, VA . This significant project also encompasses four separate remote sites located in Chesapeake, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Norfolk, VA; and Elizabeth City, NC, enhancing security and operational efficiency across multiple locations.
Project Management Excellence: PDDM Solutions was contracted to provide on-site project management services, facilitating effective oversight of the project to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the Government and Visual Connections. Our responsibilities included:
- Project Management: Leading the overall management of the project, ensuring that all objectives were met on time and within budget.
- Product Submittals: Reviewing and managing product submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

- Drafting/Design: Assisting with drafting and design elements associated with the infrastructure projects to align with specifications and operational needs.

- Inventory Control: Managing inventory of materials and equipment on-site to ensure availability and minimize project delays.
- Post-Installation Services: Coordinating post-installation evaluations and assisting with the transition to operational status for the new systems.
